NFL Draft Scouting Report: Brett Bell

Posted Nov 13, 2005

Brett Bell\CB\Wisconsin

Full Name: Brett Bell         School: Wisconsin

Ht: 6-1    Wt: 189    40: 4.55    Yr: 5Sr

Pos: Athletic corner with good size\speed numbers. Physical, likes to mix it up and flashes on the scene. Displays good hip movement and range on the field. Solid special teams player.

Neg: Does more hitting then wrap-up tackling. Has lapses and gives up easy receptions.

Analysis: Coming off a solid junior campaign, many thought Bell played better then his more heralded teammate Scott Starks in 2004. Needs a lot of polish and must learn to consistently play at a high level yet a solid developmental prospect with good upside down the road.
