Though his older brother, former San Francisco 49er first round draft pick
Rashaun Woods, has been a major disappointment, the younger Woods sibling
offers solid skills for the next level. Possessing a complete game, D'Juan Woods is a sharp route runner consistently getting separation from opponents
while also flashing the ability to beat defenders deep. Catching the pass away
from his frame, Woods shows outstanding focus and concentration. Sized better
than his older brother, pre-draft 40-times will dictate how early Woods is
selected next April. An athletic big man with solid size and growth potential, Corey Hilliard has been a three-year starter at the left and right tackle
positions for OSU. An explosive blocker with the ability to slide his feet in
pass protection, Hilliard plays with a good degree of quickness but must improve
his blocking strength and develop a killer instinct.
On defense the draft eligible seniors presently look to be free agent
material. Defensive tackle Ryan McBean showed flashes ability last
season, his first at Oklahoma State. The former junior college transfer has good
size and must be watched this season. Defensive end Victor DeGrate and Darnell Smith are both undersized pass rushers who project to outside linebacker at
the next level.
