Pittsburgh running back Verron Haynes appeared on Sirius NFL Radio this week and talked about the Ravens, the Bengals, and his take on whether or not head coach Bill Cowher is going to retire.

One of the first things Steelers running back Verron Haynes did during his interview this week on Sirius NFL Radio was acknowledge the great job the Ravens did last week against his team in a convincing win.

"I've got to tip my hat to them. They did an excellent job of preparing, and they executed well," he said. "Jamal [Lewis] ran well. And the defense really played a hell of a game."

Haynes also discussed this week's opponent and division rival, the Cincinnati Bengals, who are trying to keep their playoff possibilities alive with a win at the expense of Pittsburgh. With the Steelers having nothing to gain with the win, Haynes was asked whether or not his team needed any extra motivation to get up for this game.

"It's one of those things that you don't really need the extra to get up for this game," he said. "It's Cincinnati. If we were playing other teams, maybe we'd need the extra fire, but it's Cincinnati, it's bad blood throughout our division."

A large portion of the 12-minute interview, compliments of Sirius NFL Radio, focuses on Haynes' thoughts regarding the possibly retirement of his head coach, Bill Cowher. Find out why Haynes doesn't think the Steelers' skipper will walk away after Sunday's game.
