Ohio Bobcats
There are three marginal prospects on offense; Chad Brinker, a nice
sized ball carrier with adequate speed and a hard worker that gives top effort
trying to finish his blocks, Joe Mohler, a reliable wide receiver that
extends his hands and looks the ball in while also effectively blocking down the
field and finally Erik Grahovac, a rough-n-tumble lineman, strong at the
point of attack but limited in his abilities to play in space. None offer a
great amount of upside potential.
The corner we like, and have watched for sometime, is Bop White, a
nice sized cover man with solid techniques and instincts. White quickly picks up
his cover assignments, runs downfield with opponents and positions himself to
make a play on the ball. Physical, White will mix it up and also takes chances,
working to make the big play. He does not display the quickness or explosion
backed off the line of scrimmage but his head for the ball and willingness to
make plays gives him a good shot as a nickel/zone corner at the next level. Good
workouts could push him into the middle rounds.
