Georgia Tech's Mansfield Wrotto
didn't have much contact with Seattle prior to being drafted, but he was happy to be a member of the Seahawks.
"The Seahawks are one of my favorite teams," he said during a telephone interview shortly after being selected in the fourth-round of last weekend's NFL Draft. "I like what they've done the last couple of years, also I like the city and the stadium as well as the coaching staff. So I'm very excited."
Wrotto, who made the switch from defensive line to the offensive line in the spring prior to his junior year, didn't get to play a snap on that side of the ball in the fall due to injuries. So he heads into the NFL with just one year of starting experience, and that was at offensive tackle.
But Wrotto has shown such talent and versatility that scouts were even working him out at center prior to the draft. And he's confident that he can play guard or center in the NFL. You can read more about him at his player profile page
and by reading the two pre-draft interviews with him that you'll find in the left column of that page.
