The inside scoop: The Jets take on the Dolphins in an AFC East matchup this weekend, so our Miami site ran some questions by Jets team expert Dan Leberfeld to drill down on the latest info out of New York, including the status of quarterback Chad Pennington. Scout.com subscribers can read both parts of this "Behind Enemy Lines" feature at our Dolphins site by clicking these links: Part 1 / Part 2.

Who's going to win?: Find out which teams are the favorites to win in Week 3 -- at least according to Jim Poore at our New England site. Be sure to post a link to his picks on your favorite team's fan forum to see who agrees and who disagrees.

Merely a shadow... At our Giants site, Paul Schwartz points out that defensive end Michael Strahan did himself and the fans of New York a disservice by missing training camp this year. "In two games, Strahan did not get a sniff of a sack and the evidence mounted that his holdout had robbed him of his effectiveness," he says. Read his full analysis of the situation, including quotes from Strahan in this Scout.com subscribers feature.

Stopping L.J.: Minnesota takes on the Chiefs this weekend and according to John Holler at our Vikings site, Minnesota has more to be concerned about than who their starting quarterback will be this weekend. While the Vikings have done well against the run so far, Holler points out that Larry Johnson poses a different type of threat to the Minnesota defense. "He runs primarily between the tackles and beats down an opposing defense," he says. Read his analysis in this Scout.com subscribers feature.

On the road: Jim Wexell is on a cross-country road trip researching Steelers football stories for his upcoming book. He's visiting with the families of Pittsburgh players all over the country as well as former Steelers, high school teachers and friends of players. And he's already gotten a compelling interview out of former Steelers linebacker Greg Lloyd while making a stop in Fayetteville, Georgia that included this riveting statement: "I’d be suicidal without this," Lloyd said of his studies in the martial arts which has led him to teaching Tae Kwan Do. You can read his most recent blog entries at our Steelers site.

AFC South showdown: Houston takes on Indianapolis in a battle between undefeated clubs that will determine who will be the sole owner of first place in the AFC South after Week 3. At our Colts site, Greg Talmage believes the left tackles for both teams will play a major role in the outcome. Learn why in this Scout.com subscriber feature. Then check out what Brad Keller has to say about another key matchup between Texans QB Matt Schaub and Indy's deadly pass rush in this Scout.com subscribers' feature.
