In a surprise move, University of Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm has pulled out of the Under Armour Senior Bowl. Senior Bowl officials said Brohm has been dealing with a lower leg injury.
Brohm is the third-ranked quarterback in the 2008 NFL Draft, according to the Scout.com rankings. He threw for more than 4,000 yards, completing 65 percent of his passes with 30 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 2007.
Brohm is being replaced by University of Tennessee quarterback Erik Ainge, a 6-5, 225-pounder. Ainge threw for more than 3,500 yards on a 63 percent completion percentage with 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
