The addition of Long adds an instant, young pass rusher to their front-four. He's the kind of edge rusher that the defense has lacked for many years. They'll be able to use veteran DE James Hall as a situational pass rusher which is probably the best role for him at this point in his career. And with Long in the fold, Adam Carriker will stay inside.
