Flash Analysis |
Chiefs were looking for a starting cornerback. Early on in the draft process they believed that he'd be available at the top of the second round. They love the fact he has good cover skills and can close on the ball. Though he's a bit small at 5'9" he can hit and they plan on giving him every opportunity to start in 2008. Some in the organization compare him to former Chief Kevin Ross. - Nick Athan, Warpaint Illustrated

Adam Caplan's Take |
Flowers is decent value here and he'll come in right away and compete for the starting job which was vacated once Ty Law was cut.
