Flash Analysis |
The Colts lost just one starter, guard Jake Scott, from a 13-3 team in 2007. Selecting Pollak here gives the team some depth and flexibility on the offensive line, where either Dylan Gandy or Charlie Johnson will take Scott's place at right guard. The pick gives the team the option to play Pollack at guard if those two players don't work out. At 6 feet, 3 inches and 301 pounds, Pollak fits the mold of Colts linemen that are smart and coachable, if not particularly physically imposing. Or, they'll groom Pollak to inherit the center position from three-time All-Pro center Jeff Saturday, who turns 33 in June and is in the last year of his contract in 2008. - Eric Hartz, ColtPower.com

Adam Caplan's Take |
Nice selection here of Pollack who will be the eventual replacement for Jeff Saturday in a few years. Pollack is also capable of filling in at guard if needed.
