2000: Named to the Freshman All-SEC team.  Finished third on the team in tackles with 62/4/1.

Scouting Report

The Good:  Strong athlete that forces the action on the field.  Holds his grounds against blocks or defeats them altogether, squares into the tackle, wrapping up and brings the opponent down on initial contact.  Gets depth on his drops easily running downfield with opponents in pass coverage and displays excellent range.  Quick altering his angle of attack, collapses nicely from the outside to defend the run and always working to get involved in the action.  Decent instincts and plays with a good degree of discipline.

The Bad: Does show some hesitation in pass coverage which causes him to arrive on the scene a half step late.

The Skinny: Could develop into a very good strong-side linebacker and high choice in the future.
