NFL Draft: 2009 Mock Draft

Now that the January 15th deadline for underclassmen to declare has passed and with the NFL down to its final four, Scout.com's NFL Draft Analyst Chris Steuber updates his first round projections and has the Detroit Lions selecting a quarterback with the top pick.


Now that the underclassmen have officially declared for the draft, and the NFL down to its final four teams, there’s a directive as far as how the April spectacle may unfold. The infusion of young talent in this year’s draft is obvious as I project 17 seniors and 15 underclassmen being selected in the first round.

With that said, the intrigue builds as to whom the Detroit Lions will select with the first pick in the 2009 draft. The Lions are on the clock…
