Scouting
Report
The
Good:
Tough,
heady linebacker that can be used on the inside or at outside linebacker. Smart,
instinctive and does a terrific job diagnosing plays before they unfold.
Quick
filling the gaps in run defense, finds his way through the traffic and squares
into
the ball carrier, wrapping up. Effectively uses his hands to stay off blocks.
The
Bad:
Some
speed to the flanks but only a short burst that cannot be sustained.
Lacks overall
range and struggles in anything other than zone coverage defending the pass.
The
Skinny:
Reminds
us a lot of Rocky Calmus to this point in his career.
