VS
Virginia
The best prospects
on the UVA roster are both seniors. Wide
out Billy McMullen is a solid possession
wide out with nice size and reliable hands. Lack of speed is a concern and
will move McMullen further down draft boards then his skills warrant. Linebacker
Angelo Crowell
impacts the game and has been a productive performer on the college level but
lacks the pure size/speed numbers to make a big move on draft day. Quarterback
Matt Schaub is one that must be charted as well.
West
Virginia
WVU is heavy with
senior talent, none better than running
back Avon
Cobourne, a runner that brings about a lot of debate when
mentioning his name. The easiest way to characterize Cobourne in our eyes would
be to say he's a step slower than Amos Zereoue, though he has a little more
power than the former Mountaineer runner. David Upchurch is an athletic
defensive lineman that is a bit small for tackle and short for end while Jason
Davis is not the player of Upchurch but may have more upside based on size and size potential.
Tackle Lance Nimmo understands his position and
could get some late round looks.
