Name:  Jamaal Jackson  School:  Delaware St  Year:   5Sr

Ht:  6-3  Wt:  350  40:  5.51  Pos:  T

Bio: Three year starter who has been used at tackle, center and guard.  Recently turned in a very good workout running a 5.25-forty and bench pressing 225-pounds 29 times.

Pos: Massive lineman who obliterates defenders once engaged at the point of attack.  Works to bend his knees, displays adequate quickness off the snap and removes opponents from the line of scrimmage once engaged in a block.  Good athlete for his size, showed improved footwork as a senior and effective when he concentrates and works to finish off a defender.

Neg:  Bends at the waist, lacks lateral blocking range and for the most part does more leaning on defenders rather than blocking with solid fundamentals.  Tires as the game progresses, gets sloppy and falls asleep mentally.  A bit short for tackle and not cognizant enough to play on the pivot.

Analysis:  Possesses the underlying physical skills but must turn the intensity up several notches to have any chance of sticking at the next level.  Should get an invite to camp but will quickly be shown the door if he is not ready to play next summer.
