Strengths: Coleman is an athletic defender who can make plays all over the field. He can play with his hand in the dirt or standing up and uses his hands well off the edge. He’s a sound tackler and works hard to get through the trash. He takes on blocks and shows good balance and body control in pursuit. He showcases a large repertoire of moves and creates havoc in the backfield. He’s a very productive performer.

Weaknesses: He doesn’t possess a prototypical frame and lacks burst. He doesn’t over power the opposition and relies on his technique to gain the advantage. He has to shed blocks consistently and be more effective against the run. He’s had durability issues in the past.

Steuber Says: Coleman is a very good pass rusher and has collected a number of sacks during his career at Auburn. This past season, he registered 16.5 tackles for a loss and a career-high 10 sacks. Coleman’s lack of straight-line speed and instincts will hurt him during the draft process, and this once highly touted prospect is now labeled as a mid-round selection.
