NFL Draft Workouts and Visits

Scout.com's Ed Thompson has official visit and workout updates for four talented NFL Draft prospects, including Texas safety Earl Thomas, Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson and Missouri linebacker Sean Weatherspoon.

  • With his status as a likely first-round pick, it's no surprise that Texas safety Earl Thomas is in high demand in the upcoming weeks. Scout.com has learned that one of his scheduled workouts later this month will be held in Austin in front of the New England Patriots. Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs are just a few of the teams that the 5-foot-10, 208-pound safety is scheduled to visit during the first two weeks of April. The play-making defensive back was a unanimous first-team All-Big 12 selection. He made 71 tackles, broke up 16 passes and picked-off a team-leading eight passes during his senior year.

  • Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson has a workout scheduled with the Patriots for March 22. The versatile and mobile athlete has rushed for 1,858 yards and 22 touchdowns, but also became the Cowboys' all-time leading passer with 8,317 yards during his college career. Over the past two months, his draft stock has risen with strong showings at both the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine.

  • Brigham Young's Dennis Pitta was scheduled to work out today for the New England Patriots, according to an NFL source. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound tight end finished his collegiate career as the Cougars' all-time leader in receptions with 216 catches. He also has a visit scheduled with the Cincinnati Bengals on April 5-6.

  • Scout.com's Chris Steuber has reported that Boston College center Matt Tennant was working out for the Denver Broncos today, and an NFL source says that the 6-foot-5, 300-pound lineman already has another workout scheduled for March 26 with the Atlanta Falcons.

  • Steuber has also reported that Missouri linebacker Sean Weatherspoon will work out for the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday, March 17. But Scout.com has now learned that Weatherspoon has an official visit on his calendar to meet with the Kansas City Chiefs on March 31 and April 1.
