Procter will provide depth at guard and center.
Smiley appeared in 15 games last season and started 12. However, his play
regressed as the season progressed, so the team looked to trade him for several
months. Both starting guard spots look to be wide open as we get closer to the
start of training camp.
Torbor was set to make over $6 million in base salary over the final two years
of his deal--way too much for special teams player and backup linebacker.
