The rookie signings are starting to trickle in, but they won't pick up in earnest until next month. Last Updated: Saturday at 10:21 AM ET.

Arizona Cardinals

Atlanta Falcons

Tuesday: Signed third-round pick DT Corey Peters.

Thursday: Signed sixth-round pick S Shann Schillinger, waived QB Eric Ward.

Comments: Peters, who signed a four-year deal, should compete for a role as one of Atlanta's top-four defensive tackles.

Schillinger figures to compete for a role as the team's fourth safety.

Baltimore Ravens

Monday: Re-signed OT Jared Gaither.

Tuesday: Waived LB William VanDeSteeg, re-signed S Dawan Landry.

Wednesday: Re-signed FB Le'Ron McClain.

Thursday: Waived WRs Maurice Price and Chris Hannon.

Comments: Gaither, McClain, and Landry signed their one-year RFA tenders.

Buffalo Bills

Tuesday: Signed seventh-round pick OT Kyle Calloway, waived UDFA CB Stephan Virgil.

Thursday: Signed sixth-round pick LB Arthur Moats, signed seventh-round pick QB Levi Brown, waived DE Will Croner, waived OL Jorge Guerra.

Comments: Calloway, who signed a four-year deal, is capable of playing guard or tackle.

Moats and Brown signed four-year deals.

Moats will likely wind up playing OLB, but he's been lining up inside during recent OTA practices.

Brown will challenge for the No. 3 QB role this year, but he could move up the depth chart in year two.

Carolina Panthers

Tuesday: Re-signed LB Thomas Davis, re-signed CB Richard Marshall.

Comments: Both players signed their one-year RFA tenders. Davis wound up tearing his right ACL again in his right knee and will likely miss the entire 2010 season.

Chicago Bears

Monday: Waived DE Lawrence Wilson from IR.

Cincinnati Bengals

Cleveland Browns

Dallas Cowboys

Friday: Re-signed WR Miles Austin.

Comments: He signed his one-year RFA tender.

Denver Broncos

Wednesday: Signed fifth-round pick CB Perrish Cox.

Comments: The talented defensive back will compete for a job as the team's fourth or fifth cornerback.

Detroit Lions

Green Bay Packers

Houston Texans

Thursday: Signed third-round pick DT Earl Mitchell, released RB Ryan Moats.

Friday: Re-signed TE Owen Daniels, signed fourth-round pick LB Darryl Sharpton, waived/injured WR Trey Stross, waived UDFA S Aaron Webster.

Comments: Mitchell has a chance to handle the third DT job with the Texans if he has a strong preseason. With the Moats' release, the third RB job comes down to Arian Foster and Chris Henry.

Daniels signed his one-year RFA tender. Sharpton, who signed a four-year deal, figures to compete for playing time on the weak-side.

Indianapolis Colts

Monday: Claimed QB Tom Brandstater off waivers from the Denver Broncos.

Friday: Re-signed S Antoine Bethea.

Comments: Brandstater was waived by Denver last Friday. According to a league source, no other teams put in a waiver claim for him. Brandstater will compete for the No. 2 QB job with the Colts.

Bethea signed his one-year RFA tender, but the team was working on a long-term deal with him.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Kansas City Chiefs

Miami Dolphins

Wednesday: Re-signed TE Anthony Fasano.

Friday: Waived DE Brian Johnston.

Comments: Fasano signed his one-year RFA tender.

Minnesota Vikings

New England Patriots

Tuesday: Signed fourth-round pick TE Aaron Hernandez.

Thursday: Released DT Amon Gordon.

Friday: Signed RB Thomas Clayton, waived QB Mike Teel, waived P David King, WR Bryan Anderson.

Comments: Hernandez, who signed a four-year deal, will compete for a receiving role at tight end in New England's offense.

New Orleans Saints

Monday: Signed G Terrence Metcalf.

Comments: Metcalf should wind up being their top interior offensive lineman.

New York Giants

Friday: Signed third-round pick S Chad Jones.

Comments: He signed a four-year deal.

New York Jets

Friday: Signed K Jared Ballman.

Comments: Ballman is now the second kicker on their 80-man roster.

Oakland Raiders

Tuesday: Signed UDFA WR Damola Adeniji.

Wednesday: Signed OT Elliot Vallejo and UDFA OT Allen Smith.

Philadelphia Eagles

Tuesday: Signed UDFA LB Simoni Lawrence, signed fifth-round pick LB Ricky Sapp.

Thursday: Signed fourth-round pick LB Keenan Clayton, placed S/CB Marlin Jackson on IR. Waived QB Joey Elliott, RB Keithon Flemming, WR Pat Simonds, and FB Chris Zardas.

Comments: Lawrence spent a few weeks with the St. Louis Rams in May.

Sapp will compete for a job as a situational pass rusher. Clayton figures to compete for a roster spot as a backup WLB.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Monday: Signed LB Matt Stewart.

Friday: Signed fourth-round pick LB Thaddeus Gibson, signed seventh-round pick DE Doug Worthington.

Comments: According to FoxSports.com's Alex Marvez, Stewart was actually signed to handle long-snapping duties.

San Diego Chargers

Monday: Re-signed WR Malcom Floyd.

Tuesday: Waived UDFA LB Boris Lee.

Wednesday: Signed OT Tra Thomas, waived UDFA OT Justin Jeffries, waived UDFA WR Marcel Thompson.

Friday: Signed WR Josh Reed.

Comments: Floyd signed his one-year RFA tender.

Thomas will give the Chargers badly needed depth and insurance at left tackle.

Reed figures to compete for a role as a slot receiver.

San Francisco 49ers

Monday: Traded WR Isaac Bruce to the St. Louis Rams.

Tuesday: Signed UDFA OT Matt Kopa.

Comments: It's surprising that the 49ers had been holding a roster spot this offseason for a player who they didn't plan on keeping.

Seattle Seahawks

Wednesday: Signed seventh-round picks DE Dexter Davis and TE Jameson Konz, signed UDFA DT Barrett Moen, signed UDFA DE Will Tukuaku, waived TE Michael Allen, waived WR Patrick Carter, waived LB Kevin Dixon, waived S Quinton Teal.

Comments: Davis, if he has a strong preseason, would have an excellent chance to make the team because Seattle is very light on depth at DE.

Konz is attempting to make the transition from playing WR in college.

St. Louis Rams

Monday: Acquired WR Isaac Bruce from the San Francisco 49ers.

Thursday: Signed DT Chris Hovan.

Comments: It will be interesting to see if Bruce can make it in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Hovan will give the team solid veteran depth for the interior of their defensive line.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tennessee Titans

Washington Redskins

Wednesday: Signed WR Mike Furrey, waived LB Alvin Bowen, waived DL Antoine Holmes, waived CB Marcus McCauley, released TE Sean Ryan.

Friday: Signed sixth-round pick FB/TE Dennis Morris, signed seventh-round picks OL Selvish Capers and Erik Cook.

Comments: Furrey figures to compete for a roster spot as a slot receiver.

Capers surprisingly dropped down in the draft, but he has a legitimate shot to make the final roster coming out of the preseason.
