Scouting Report: Ronald Bellamy
Name: Ronald Bellamy School: Michigan Year: 4Sr Ht: 5-11 Wt: 195 40: 4.51 Pos: WR Bio: Two year starter who also saw action with the first team as a red-shirt sophomore. Posted 46 receptions last season for 530 yards and 5 scores. Totaled 14/252/2 as a junior and 7/106/2 the prior year when he played behind Marquis Walker and David Terrell, respectively. Pos: Good sized receiver that's yet to take his game to another level. Quickly releases off the line of scrimmage and a solid route runner who gets separation from defenders, extends his hands and adjusts well to the errant throw. Runs well laterally, displays good eye/hand coordination and pulls the ball out of the air in stride. Neg: Lacks the top end or deep speed. Has difficulty making the difficult catch in contorted positions. All to often lazily lets the ball get inside of him or double catches the easy throw. Analysis: Waited in the wings for three seasons at Michigan but never took off as a senior or made anyone believe the flashes he previously showed were more than that.
