Arizona Cardinals
Monday: Re-signed G Deuce Lutui.
Comments: He signed his one-year RFA tender. Lutui will have a tough time
winning a starting job because the team signed veteran G Alan Faneca.
Atlanta Falcons
Tuesday: Signed fourth-round pick OL Joe Hawley, signed fifth-round pick CB
Dominique Franks, waived K Garrett Lindholm, waived LS Justin Drescher, waived
DT Trey Bryant, waived CB Dominique Daniels.
Friday: Signed third-round pick G Mike Johnson.
Comments: Hawley is capable of backing up at guard and center. Johnson could
challenge for a starting job as soon as his second season.
Franks should be able to compete for a spot within the top-four jobs at
cornerback.
Baltimore Ravens
Thursday: Waived UDFAs DE John Fletcher, CBs Courtney Smith and Ashton Hall, and
S Brad Jones, waived C Daniel Sanders.
Buffalo Bills
Wednesday: Signed fourth-round pick WR Marcus Easley, waived UDFA LB Mike
Wright.
Comments: Easley, who signed a four-year deal, has a legitimate shot to garner
serious playing time this season since the team is weak at receiver.
Carolina Panthers
Tuesday: Signed sixth-round pick WR David Gettis, signed seventh-round pick CB
R.J. Stanford.
Thursday: Signed sixth-round pick DE Greg Hardy, signed sixth-round pick S
Jordan Pugh, signed seventh-round pick CB Robert McClain, waived UDFAs RB Daniel
Porter, TE Andrew George, OT Mark Ortmann, P Blake Haudan, K Aaron Pettrey, S
Matt O'Hanlon.
Comments: Gettis, because Carolina is very light on depth at receiver, has a
realistic chance to make the final roster coming out of the preseason.
Stanford and McClain will compete for a job as the team's fourth or fifth cornerback.
Carolina has little depth at safety, so Pugh's chances of making the final
roster coming out of the preseason are probably stronger than at first thought.
Carolina is in dire need of pass rushing help, so Hardy could see a decent
amount of snaps this season.
Chicago Bears
Cincinnati Bengals
Friday: Released CB Keiwan Ratliff, waived UDFA S Bryan Evans, RB Walter
Mendenhall, UDFA P Jake Richardson, CB DeAngelo Willingham.

UDFA CB Benjamin Burney, RB Thomas Brown, OT Jason Capizzi, UDFA Auston English,
and WR James Robinson.
Comments: Harrison, Vickers, Roth, and Elam signed their one-year RFA tenders.
According to league source, four other teams put in a waiver claim for Fanaika.
With Chiaciuc off the roster, the center position is light on depth.
Phil Dawson remains as the lone kicker on Cleveland's 80-man roster.
Dallas Cowboys
Denver Broncos
Monday: Re-signed LB Elvis Dumervil, waived/injured LB Braxton Kelley.
Tuesday: Claimed RB Kolby Smith off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs, waived
UDFA LB Korey Bosworth, waived P A.J. Trapasso, placed LB Braxton Kelly on IR.
Thursday: Signed third-round pick C J.D. Walton, waived UDFA DL Jaron Baston,
waived/injured FB Kyle Eckel.
Comments: Dumervil signed his one-year RFA tender.
Smith will have an uphill battle to make the team. His best chance is to beat
out RB J.J. Arrington for the No. 3 job.
Walton has an excellent chance to start this season depending on where the team
lines up veteran OL Russ Hochstein, who is recovering from ACL surgery.
Detroit Lions
Tuesday: Claimed K Justin Medlock off waivers from the Washington Redskins.
Comments: Medlock could get a chance to be a kickoff specialist.
Green Bay Packers
Tuesday: Re-signed DE Johnny Jolly.
Thursday: Re-signed CB Tramon Williams.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Kansas City Chiefs
Monday: Waived the following players: QB Matt Gutierrez, RB Kolby Smith, TE
Leroy Banks, OTs Nick Landry and Jermail Porter, and CB Andre Jones.
Miami Dolphins
Tuesday: Signed seventh-round pick LB Chris McCoy.
Comments: McCoy figures to compete for a job as the team's fourth ILB.
Minnesota Vikings
Monday: Re-signed DE Ray Edwards, signed fifth-round LB Nate Triplett, and
waived the following players: RB James Johnson, WR Aaron Rhea (injured), OTs Matt Hanson
and Marlon Winn, C Eddie Adamaski, and CB Angelo Williams.
Tuesday: Signed RB Ryan Moats, placed WR Aaron Rhea on IR.
Comments: Triplett, who signed a four-year deal, is expected to challenge for
the backup MLB job this season. Edwards signed his one-year RFA tender.
Moats will challenge for playing time against rookie RB Toby Gerhart and
third-year RB Albert Young.
New England Patriots
Wednesday: Signed fifth-round pick P Zoltan Mesko.
Comments: He's the only punter on New England's 80-man roster.
New Orleans Saints

Tuesday: Re-signed S Roman Harper, waived/injured WR Roy Hall.
Wednesday: Waived/injured CB Greg Fassitt, placed WR Roy Hall on IR.

Saturday: Traded OT Jammal Brown to the Washington Redskins in exchange for a

With Brown gone, backup OT Jermon Bushrod, who started for Brown last season,
will take over full-time at LT.
New York Giants
Monday: Waived K Sam Swank.
New York Jets
Friday: Waived K Jared Ballman, UDFA DT Mick Williams, S Brannon Condren.
Oakland Raiders
Tuesday: Signed DT John Henderson.
Friday: Re-signed DE Richard Seymour.
Comments: Henderson should wind up being no worse than the team's third defensive
tackle, and he might wind up starting. Seymour signed his one-year exclusive
franchise tender worth over $12 million,
Philadelphia Eagles
Tuesday: Signed fourth-round picks QB Mike Kafka and TE Clay Harbor.
Wednesday: Signed third-round pick DE Daniel Te'o-Nesheim.
Thursday: Waived UDFA CB Devin Ross.
Comments: Kafka will handle the No. 3 QB role this season, but could move up to
the No. 2 spot in 2011.
Harbor has a decent chance to handle the No. 2 TE role
this season. He may be the best blocker at the position that the team currently
has on their 80-man roster.
Te'o-Nesheim is expected to see most of his playing time as an interior
defensive lineman in Philadelphia's nickel package.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Tuesday: Signed third-round pick WR Emmanuel Sanders, signed fifth-round
pick LB Stevenson Sylvester, signed sixth-round pick RB Jonathan Dwyer, signed
sixth-round pick WR Antonio Brown, waived the following players: WR Jason Chery,
UDFA Bradley Vierling, K Piotr Czech, P Adam Graessle, UDFA DT Cordarrow
Thompson, UDFA LB Derrick Doggett, and CB Trae Williams.
Wednesday: Signed fifth-round picks OT Chris Scott and CB Crezdon Butler, waived
UDFA S Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith.
Comments: The speedy Sanders could get into the top-four of the receiver
rotation this season. He also could wind up competing for a role as a special
teams returner.
Sylvester figures to compete for a role as the team's fourth ILB.
Dwyer didn't run well at all during the NFL Combine, so that really hurt his
draft stock. Still, he's a nice value where the Steelers got him. He'll fit in
well since the team is expected to take on more of a power rushing philosophy on
offense.
Brown figures to compete for a role as the team's fourth or fifth receiver.
Scott likely will vie for a backup job at LT. Butler will compete for a job as
the team's fourth or fifth cornerback.
San Diego Chargers
San Francisco 49ers
Monday: Signed sixth-round pick RB Anthony Dixon.
Friday: Released CB Keith Smith, waived LB Brandon Long.
Comments: Dixon, who signed a four-year deal, has much more talent than current
No. 2 RB Glen Coffee, so don't be surprised if Dixon takes over that role before
too long.
Seattle Seahawks
Wednesday: Claimed CB Cord Parks off waivers from the St. Louis Rams.
Friday: Waived UDFA WR Victor James, released WR Reggie Williams, signed
fourth-round pick CB Walter Thurmond, signed fourth-round pick DE C.J. Wilson.
Comments: Seattle has had major coverage problems in the secondary over the past
few seasons, so it's not a surprise that they want to take a look at a
developmental CB such as Parks.
St. Louis Rams
Tuesday: Waived DE Sean Conover, waived UDFA Ernest Reid, waived UDFA Freddie
Harris, waived CB Cord Parks, waived UDFA S Jeromy Jones.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Monday: Signed third-round pick CB Myron Lewis, waived DE Maurice Evans.

Friday: Waived UDFA LS Matt Mauriello, waived S Emanuel Cook, claimed S UDFA S
Matt O'Hanlon off waivers from the Carolina Panthers, released LB Angelo
Crowell, signed seventh-round picks LB Dakoda Watson and DE Erik Lorig.
Comments: Lewis, who signed a four-year deal, could wind up being the eventual
successor to veteran CB Ronde Barber, who turned 35 in April.
Bowden is now Tampa Bay's only punter under contract.
Lorig figures to challenge for a roster spot as the team's fourth or fifth
defensive end. Watson likely will compete for playing time at SLB.
Tennessee Titans
Monday: LB Gerald McRath suspended by the NFL for the first four games
of the regular season, re-signed LB Stephen Tulloch.
Tuesday: Signed fourth-round pick CB Alterraun Verner, signed sixth-round pick S
Myron Rolle, signed seventh-round pick WR Marc Mariani, signed seventh-round
pick DT David Howard, placed CB Rod Hood on IR.
Comments: McRath had a legitimate shot to start at SLB this season over veteran
David Thornton, but those plans have to be shelled for the time being. Tulloch
signed his one-year RFA tender.
Verner, who signed a four-year deal, could get in the mix right away at CB since
the team is very young opposite starter Cortland Finnegan.
Rolle will compete for playing time in back of starting FS Michael Griffin.
Mariani and Howard are long shots to make the team. Both, however, could wind up
on Tennessee's practice squad in the fall.
Hood suffered a torn ACL during a OTA practice earlier this week.
Washington Redskins
Monday: Re-signed LB Rocky McIntosh, waived G Paul Fanaika, waived K Justin
Medlock.
Wednesday: Signed seventh-round pick WR Terrence Austin.
Friday: Waived CB Melvin Stephenson, waived DT Greg Peterson, claimed CB Ramzee
Robinson off waivers from the Cleveland Browns, signed fourth-round pick LB
Perry Riley.
Saturday: Acquired OT Jammal Brown from the New Orleans Saints in exchange for a
conditional draft compensation.
Comments: McIntosh signed his one-year RFA tender. Riley figures to compete for
a roster spot as a ILB
Austin figures to challenge for a job as a special teams returner.
Brown's addition will give the Redskins tremendous flexibility for their
offensive line. With the addition of rookie OT Trent Williams, Brown could play
on the right side. OT Stephon Heyer could be moved to guard.
