Chris Kelsay did everything and then some to either hold his draft status or
to increase it. He bettered a lot of his individual performances but opted out
of the usual drills like the forty, bench and what not, because he did those at
the combine.
DeJaun Groce and Scott Shanle also didn't compete in those drills. Indy
seemed to be taking interest in DeJuan Groce.
There seems to be some hub about Shanle. No, he's not sky rocketing up the
depth chart, but there seems to be the belief that once he's in a pro system,
he's actually a guy that can physically get it done.
The reports on Thunder Collins 40 time have all indicated he impressed. One
scout even remarked after a 4.48 that it was better than he thought it would be.
Ironically Collins stated before the drills began that he had some slight
tendinitis in his knee and was worried about how the 40 would go.
Wilson Thomas seemed to fall off a bit, at least as far as the 40 time goes,
two scouts remarking about how they knew he was "better than that".
