  • The Cleveland Browns were denied permission to talk to Dallas Cowboys assistant coach Tony Sparano to become their offensive line coach.

  • The Carolina Panthers are showing serious interest in hiring Cleveland Browns offensive line coach Jeff Davidson as the Panthers offensive line coach or offensive coordinator. Updating this ongoing report here, as of mid-afternoon Tuesday, Davidson is now in contract negotiations for the offensive coordinator position and a hiring could be announced in the next 24 hours.
