1st – 2nd Round |
Notes: Connor is an
instinctive linebacker that plays with a great deal of intensity. He
diagnoses the action quickly and positions himself to make a play. He has good
speed, sheds blocks and creates havoc in the backfield. He finished the
regular season with 136 tackles, 14 for a loss, 6.5 sacks and an

|
2 |
Justin King |
CB |
6-0 |
186 |

2nd Round |
Notes: King is an
athletic cornerback with shutdown ability, but lacks focus. He has good size
and speed and has the ability to blanket a receiver all game long. He
positions himself well in coverage and has great closing speed. He
anticipates the action well and displays great timing defending the pass.
He’s not a physical corner and doesn’t challenge receivers very often; he
tends to play off the line and try to entice the quarterback to challenge his
quickness. He has a solid burst to the ball, but will give up big plays due
to his over aggressive nature.
|
3 |
Sean Lee |
LB |

2nd Round |
Notes: Lee is an
instinctive, hardnosed linebacker that makes plays all over the field. He
plays well at the line of scrimmage and is a sure tackler. He has good

3rd – 4th Round |
Notes: Shipley is a
fundamentally sound interior lineman that’s highly intelligent. He’s quick
off the snap and holds his ground against a bigger opposition. He sets with a

only get better.
|

5th Round |
Notes: Butler is a good
possession receiver that has the ability to break free in the open field. He

viable receiving option out of the backfield.
|
10 |
Anthony Morelli |

6-4 |
232 |
Sr. |
7th Round |
Notes: Morelli has a lot
of potential, but has been plagued by inconsistency. He has great size and an
above average arm, but has to improve his accuracy. He shows good poise in
the pocket, but as soon as he feels pressure he forces throws.
|
11 |
Jordan Norwood |
WR |
5-10 |
172 |
Jr. |
7th Round |
Notes: Norwood is a
small receiver with a lot of potential. He has to be more disciplined in his

a good burst off the line. He’s able to shed blocks, has a nose for the ball,
and makes plays in the backfield. He uses his strength effectively and rarely

can really disrupt a quarterback’s flow with his wingspan.
|
