The Rams of Colorado State always offer a few offensive guards that make their way into an NFL camp as a free agent. Morgan Pears is the next in line.

Scouting Report:

The Good:  Nice sized, running blocking guard best in confined quarters.  Blocks with forward lean, aggressive and attacks the defender.  Works to stay square, keeps opponents in front of him and strong in his upper body.  Blocks down well on opponents, engulfs defenders or removes them from the play, opening holes for his ball carrier.

The Bad: Not a natural knee bender, gets tall and has difficulty playing with balance.  Does not adjusts well and limited in his ability to play in space.

The Skinny:  Could back up for a power offense.
