| Biography: |
Probably the Top Banana of the Green Wave offense, certainly one of the the most senior from the point of view of playing experience, having made 28 career starts.
Chuck's been nailing skins on the wall his whole career and the totals are awesome -
66 catches last season, 163 in his career; 2,381 career receiving yards, with 1,006 coming last season. Add 23 career touchdowns, and you can see why Roydell is the bull goose of the Tulane offense.
An outside receiver in Tulane's spread offense, Williams is without doubt one of the keys to the 2004 success of the Tulane offense. If opposing defensive coordinators are left to run their own plans without interference, Williams is going to draw double teams and stacked coverage from the opening snap of every game. Added weight and strength could help him in handling the double teams and jams at the line of scrimmage that are certain to be a part of opposing defensive coordinator's Williams containment strategy.
