2004: The fourth-year veteran from Oregon hasn't been as productive as scouts thought he would be coming out of college. The main reason is because he is stuck behind one of the best running backs in the league in Shaun Alexander.
In 2004, Morris didn't start a game and rushed 30 times for 126 yards, while also posting nine receptions for 53 yards. Morris is also the main kickoff returner for the Seahawks registering a 21.1 yard average.
With the franchise-tag being placed on Alexander there is a very good chance that Morris again will see limited time as a running back. There have been rumors that the Hawks have been looking to trade Alexander (rumors that were denied by the team) and if that were to happen, Morris would be the starter heading into training camp.
2003: Got the first start of his NFL career when Alexander's daughter was born. Posted 38 carries for 239 yards (6.3 yard average) and four receptions for 32 yards and his first career touchdown.
2002: Saw limited time as a rookie, rushing for 153 yards on 32 attempts. He also posted three receptions for 25 yards and saw lots of time as a kickoff returner returning one kick 97 yards for a touchdown against the St. Louis Rams. |
