Signed with Lions as unrestricted free-agent in April, 2005.
He has very good size and is one of the most physical and most feared safeties in the game. When he’s at his best, receivers will fear going over the middle where Kennedy roams. While having great size, Kennedy actually isn’t a great cover player which belies the fact he only has four career interceptions in his five seasons of play. He gets by on intimidation and reputation as compared to great skill. He’s more than willing to mix it up against the run. |
