| Tall, rangy target who earned starting role in 2002 and produced career-highs in catches, yards and touchdowns in leading the team in receiving...A broken left hand suffered in the season opener at Dallas (9/7/03) that cost him four games and an injury to QB Michael Vick slowed progress in 2003...In Falcons career, 88 out of his 112 catches have been for either a first down (77) or touchdown (11)...Began his pro career with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1999 after a strong showing in NFL Europe with the Barcelona Dragons...Emerged as a solid receiver with big-play ability in second season in Atlanta in 2001...Led the team with a 21.3 per catch average in 2001 and among his 23 receptions, 16 were for first downs and three went for touchdowns...Made the Falcons' 53-man active roster after a strong preseason in 2000...Orginally signed to Atlanta's practice squad late in 1999...Used in nickel defense during late game prevent situations. |
