Became the starting free safety in 2004 for the Golden Eagles. Was Southern Miss' Co-Defensive Player of the Week against TCU (11/20) and the special teams' Big Block Award for the Memphis game (9/13). His Twin brother is linebacker Kevis Coley. Managed seven tackles (four solo) against Utah in the Liberty Bowl (12/31) including one pass defended.
Personal: Born June 23, 1982 the son of Solomon and Betty Coley. Majored in coaching and sport administration. Earned second-team all-state honors and was named to the First-Team All-Gainesville Sun. Played in the Florida/California All-Star Game. Selected for the first-team all-district and first-team all-county. Earned a three-star rating by Florida Prep Football.com. Two-sport athlete lettered in basketball and football.
