Junior college transfer who posted 65/9/2 as a senior after
66/11.5/7 the prior year. Originally signed with Miami, but had his
scholarship revoked after being arrested for armed robbery.
Pos:
Physical linebacker who works best in the box. Forceful up the
field, deceptively strong and explosive filling gaps. Stays with
assignments remaining disciplined, and is a resilient linebacker who
does not give up on plays. Has a burst of speed to the action and
rarely is off his feet. Makes the defensive calls.
Neg:
Undersized and gets caught up in the trash moving laterally. Almost
a non-factor in coverage. |
