A nice-sized blocker with growth potential, Watson is a developmental prospect with a good degree of upside. Best as a strong-side tackle, though he will also be given consideration at offensive guard.


Biography:

Junior college transfer who started the past two years at South Florida.

Pos:

Strong, small-area blocker who plays with a nasty attitude. Stays square, jolts defenders with good hand punch, then turns them off the ball. Displays a good degree of quickness and blocks with good lean. Seals defenders from the action and fights until the whistle blows.

Neg:

Must improve his blocking balance. Lacks footwork sliding out off the edge and struggles with speedy pass rushers.

2006-Theodric Watson OT (Senior) Watson was a JUCO transfer last year and early on proved he was the man for the job. His best game was USF's 45-14 win against Louisville where he shut down All-American defensive end Elvis Dumervill, and held him with out a sack. He broke his hand during spring practic
