Tough, explosive blocker who plays with a nasty attitude. Quickly gets into blocks, sets with a wide base and plays with good lean. Strong at the point, turns opponents off the line and stays with assignments. Fundamentally sound and bends his knees. Keeps his head on a swivel, works well with teammates and looks for someone to hit. Seals defenders from the action with body positioning.

Marginally effective in motion or on the second level. Over-extends into blocks, which adversely affects his balance and ability to finish.
