A consistent pass-catcher who’s had a quality college career, Smith is overlooked and rarely mentioned. Could fit into the very late part of the draft, and has the ability to make it as a third tight end.


Biography:

Three-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a junior and senior. Posted career-best numbers of 47/458/2 last season after 35/302/1 as a junior. Broke into the lineup as a sophomore, totaling 42/510/3.

Pos:

Athletic pass-catching tight end who is best in motion. Adjusts well and extends to make the reception away from his frame. Fluid releasing into routes, makes the reception in stride and displays good eye/hand coordination. Displays ability as a position blocker.

Neg:

Undersized and marginally strong. Lacks speed and the ability to split the seam downfield.
