A smallish, thin defender, Wright possesses solid ball skills and could be used in dime packages at the next level.


Biography:

Three-year starter and All-Conference selection last season after registering 50/3/16. Junior totals were 49/3/6.

Pos:

Undersized corner who is best facing the action. Plays faster than his 40 time, runs downfield with opponents and displays a burst of closing speed. Quickly locates the ball, has a nice move to the throw and constantly defends passes.

Neg:

Prefers to side-shuffle rather than backpedal. Does a lot of face guarding in man-to-man coverage situations.
