Analysis: A coach’s son who has been a solid starter, Cubit lacks the physical skills to play at the next level, yet could be an asset as a third quarterback on the sidelines who holds a clipboard.

Biography:

Rutgers transfer who started the past three seasons. Senior totals were 62.4%/1,954/15/11. Started three games as a junior before suffering a season-ending leg injury.

Pos::

Solid short-yardage passer with outstanding field awareness. Displays a sense of timing, leads receivers over the middle and accurately places passes. Sells the ball fakes, is patient in the pocket and waits for receivers to come open. For the most part makes good decisions.

Neg::

Possesses marginal arm strength, cannot zip the outs or drive the deep ball. Occasionally telegraphs throws.
