AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
 Downfield Threat
A consistent football player with reliable hands, Morton offers potential as a possession wideout with ability on third down or in the red zone.

Biography:

Three-year starter who also saw action with the first team as a freshman. Led the squad in receptions as a senior, posting 38/617/4, after 38/482/2 the prior year.

Pos:

Nice-sized possession wideout who plays with a good degree of intelligence. Uses his frame to protect the pass, effectively body catches when necessary and goes up in a crowd for the difficult reception. Reads defenses, finds the open spot on the field and consistently works to make himself an available target. Effectively throws the option pass when asked.

Neg:

Not sharp running routes and slows into breaks. Marginal speed and cannot beat defenders down the field.
