Three-year starter who played at middle linebacker as a senior
after starting the prior two campaigns on the outside. Numbers last
season were 70/4.5/1.5 after 61/4.5/3 as a junior.
Pos:
Tough, intelligent linebacker best making plays up the field.
Breaks down well and plays with good pad level. Physical, efficient
and takes good angles to the play. Remains disciplined with
assignments and displays a good head for the ball. Occasionally lined
up in a three-point stance, and is fast off the edge.
Neg:
Does not show much lateral speed or quickness. Marginal skills in
pursuit. Struggles in coverage. |
