2006: In his first year in Washington, Carter started all 16 games and led the defensive line with 72 tackles (53 solo) and six sacks.
2005: Carter appeared in all 16 games in his last season with the 49ers, with 14 starts and recorded 58 tackles (43 solo) and 4.5 sacks.
2004: Hampered by a back injury in 2004, Carter appeared in only seven games with six starts. He logged eight tackles and two sacks.
2003: Started 15 games and finished with 34 tackles (21 solo) and was second on team and led all defensive linemen with 6.5 sacks. He also tallied two passes defensed and one forced fumble.
2002: Started all 16 games and finished season with 57 tackles (45 solo), 12.5 sacks and one pass defensed. His 12.5 sacks were highest total for 49ers defensive lineman since 1999. Also started both of the 49ers' postseason games.
2001: Played and started 15 games as rookie and finished with 49 tackles (41 solo), two forced fumbles and team-high 6.5 sacks. Also earned NFC Rookie of the Month honors in December.
College: Started 37-of-43 games in four-year career at California and finished with 173 tackles (113 solo) and school-record 31 sacks. He is also second on career list with 55 tackles for loss (279 yards).
