How Acquired: Drafted by the Redskins in the second round (35th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. To obtain McIntosh, the Redskins moved up from pick No. 53 in the second round to No. 35 in a trade with the New York Jets.
Career Stats:

2006: As a rookie, McIntosh played in 16 games with two starts. He recorded 23 tackles (17 solo). He made his mark on special teams, recording 28 tackles on kick coverage units, second-best on the team.
College: As a senior at Miami, McIntosh started the final 11 games, earning All-Atlantic Coast Conference honorable mention. He led the Hurricanes in tackles with 89 (50 solo), compiling 5.5 sacks for minus-45 yards and 10 tackles for a loss. He also recorded one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. |
