| Never having reached his full potential is the view by many as fans were seldom treated to the abilities of one, Thunder Collins. Health issues and other issues seemed to hamper Collins' career and nobody really got to see the silky moves and deceptive speed he so often displayed in junior college and displayed when possible for NU. While Collins was at NU though, he never averaged under 5.9 yards a carry in any season with the Big Red and right up until his departure from the team for personal reasons, he was still considered to be one of the best threats NU had at running back.
