| Called a "Florida receiver playing at Nebraska", Thomas' lanky frame and off-the-meter athleticism made him a potent weapon for NU. Thomas may not have established himself as prolific due to the run-oriented nature of the NU offense, but he was certainly opportunistic, leading the Huskers in receptions and receiving yardage his junior and senior year with the Big Red.
