Biography:

2006: Posted his season high of four tackles in the UAB and Texas games ... started games one, two and four at cornerback ... recovered a fumble against UAB ... picked off a pass against Nebraska.

2005: All-Big 12 honorable mention (Big 12 Coaches, AP) ... excelled at corner in his first season in the secondary (converted from running back in the spring of 2005) ... No. 3 on the team and tops among the defensive backs with 65 tackles ... picked off two interceptions, including one that he returned 65 yards for a touchdown against Kansas ... led the team with 10 pass break-ups.

2004: One of only four true freshmen to play during the season ... saw his most extensive action with 13 rushes for 63 yards against Houston -- ripped off a season-long run of 31 yards against the Cougars ... also had two of his three receptions for the season, and a season-long grab of 27 yards, in that game ... three tackles on special teams.

High School: A four-year letterman and starter ... rushed for 2,974 yards on 357 carries for 39 touchdowns during his career ... caught 25 passes for 523 yards and 10 scores during his three seasons ... recorded 1,601 yards on 195 atttempts and 17 touchdowns on the ground as a senior ... also hauled in 14 catches for 268 yards and six touchdowns ... intercepted one pass on defense ... helped lead team to a 9-3 record ... served as a team captain as a senior ... rushed for 1,334 yards on 158 carries for 22 touchdowns during his junior campaign ... dependable receiver who caught 11 passes for 255 yards and four scores ... also used in kickoff return situations where he totaled 413 yards on 15 returns for an average of 27.5 yards per return ... transferred from Colorado after his freshman year ... clocked at 4.4 in the 40-yard dash ... coached by Bill Whiteley ... competed on the track and field team where he anchored the 4x100 relay team that placed second in the state ... also finished fourth in the state in the long jump in 2003.
