2006: Appeared in 11 of 12 games, including 10 starting assignments (six starts at strong safety and four at bandit) . . . sat out the Northwestern game with a twisted knee . . . ranked fifth on the team in tackles with 45 (29 solos, 16 assists), including 3.5 for losses (12 yards)… enrolled at Michigan State on Jan. 9, 2006, for the beginning of the spring semester.
Prior to Michigan State: Earned first-team All-Jayhawk Conference honors as a sophomore for Coach Craig Jersild at Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College . . . ranked as the Blue Dragons' second leading tackler in 2005, with 60 total tackles (46 solos, 14 assists) . . . recorded two interceptions and eight pass break-ups as a sophomore . . . started the 2005 season as a cornerback before making the transition to safety.
High School: Former high school teammate of current Spartan linebacker SirDarean Adams at Bayshore in Bradenton, Fla.
