2005: One of the Aggies’ top pass rushers in his first season as a starter … posted four quarterback sacks for a loss of 49 yards … also had four other tackles for loss of yardage … contributed 25 tackles, including 15 solo hits, while starting all 11 games … forced a fumble and recovered two others.

2004: Was one of the Aggies’ top defensive line options off the bench as a redshirt freshman … contributed 14 tackles, including eight solo stops, while seeing action in all 12 games … contributed three tackles for a loss of 16 yards, including two sacks for a loss of 15 yards … top tackle game was two tackles against four teams.

2003: Redshirted.

High School: An All-District and 5A TAPPS All-State selection, Harrington helped lead St. Pius X to the district and regional championship as a senior … recorded 50 solo tackles and chalked up seven sacks for coach Robin Kirk … part of the 1999 State Championship squad and went on to earn All-State honors three straight seasons … earned honorable mention all-state accolades as a sophomore and earned first-team All-District honors … he recorded 76 solo stops as a junior and recorded 13 sacks … named to Who’s Who Among American High School Students and was a member of the student council.

Personal: Christopher Edward Harrington is the son of John and Cynthia Harrington of Houston, Texas … born Jan. 19, 1985 in Houston, Texas … majoring in industrial distribution … his uncle, Dave Elmendorf, was a three-way All-American at A&M, earning honors in football, baseball and academics, and went on to an all-pro career in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams … Harrington comes from a long line of Aggies — in addition to his uncle Dave (Class of ’71), two other uncles Harry (Class of ’70) and Patrick (Class of ’71) Elmendorf attended Texas A&M and the first Aggie was Chris’ grandfather, Ed Elmendorf (Class of ’38) who was on the football roster in the late 30s.
