Cleveland Browns Organization Profile

The New York Giants have finalized a contract with first-round cornerback Prince Amukamara, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

Drafted 19th overall out of Nebraska, Amukamara's deal had the same structure as the 17th and 18th overall selections, New England Patriots offensive tackle Nate Solder and San Diego Chargers defensive lineman Corey Liuget. Solder's deal came in at $8.54 million and included a $4.71 million signing bonus. And Liuget's deal is worth $8.315 million and included a $4.54 million signing bonus. All three deals were fully guaranteed for skill, injury and cap from 2011 through 2014 and also contained non-guaranteed roster bonuses in 2014.

Amukamara is a big, strong cornerback who was an All-American for the Cornhuskers and should fit in well in the NFC East.

Cleveland Browns Organization
Position: FO
Date of Birth: 09/06/1946
Birthplace: Cleveland,  OH

The Cleveland Browns played their first football game on September 6th, 1946 against the Miami Seahawks and promptly went on to dominate the All-American Football Conference until it folded in 1949. Leaping to the NFL, the Cleveland Browns under the leadership of Paul Brown dominated the 1950s and 1960s as well, spawning a wealth of innovation and talent. After the team was sold to Art Modell in the early 60s, the teams fortunes began to fade, although the Browns won the NFL championship in 1964. In 1995, Modell moved the team to Baltimore, although Browns fans fought for and retained the rights to the franchise's name, colors, records, and history. The Browns re-started as an expansion franchise in 1999.
