Green Bay Packers veteran wide receiver Donald Driver's renegotiated contract will pay him $2.3 million this season, according to a league source.
The Packers are paying the Dancing With the Stars champion a $1.1 million salary that's not guaranteed.
The deal also includes a $1.2 million roster bonus.
Driver's salary cap figure is approximately $2.3 million.
Driver was previously due a $5 million salary cap figure for this season with a scheduled base salary of $2.6 million, a $1.5 million roster bonus due the first day of training camp, a $700,000 roster bonus to pay him $43,750 for every game that he's active, up to $1 million in incentives to be triggered by his total of receptions, receiving yards, average yards per reception and if he makes the Pro Bowl and a $200,000 workout bonus.
Now, the contract has been streamlined as Driver heads into his 14th season with the Packers.
Driver caught 37 passes for 445 yards and six touchdowns last season.
For his career, Driver has piled up 735 receptions, 10,060 yards and 59 touchdowns.
