WR Danny Amendola: Rams Sign WR; Waive WR

The St. Louis Rams signed WR Danny Amendola from the Philadelphia
Eagles practice squad and have waived WR Derek Stanley, a league source told
Scout.com.
Amendola will go directly to the 53-man roster of the Rams and is expected to be
at practice on Wednesday.
Amendola will play the slot for the rams, a position which he's best suited for,
and a position of which they could use an upgrade. He's also expected to compete
for playing time on punt and kick returns.
The former Texas Tech University receiver never played in a regular season game
with Philadelphia in his time there, but saw practice time with the scout team.
Rams offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur likely had a hand in bringing over
Amendola to St. Louis since he coached with the Eagles last season.
