MLB Jeremiah Trotter: Eagles Work Out MLB Again

The Philadelphia Eagles worked out free-agent MLB Jeremiah Trotter on Monday, the team confirmed. Trotter also worked out for Philadelphia last Thursday.

Head coach Andy Reid said on his radio show on Monday evening that he wanted to get a better look at Trotter in other areas that weren't covered in the previous workout.

Reid said league rules indicate that teams are only allowed to work out a player twice in each season. Trotter, when asked by this reporter last Friday about his current weight, said he weighed around 260 pounds.

Trotter, 32, last played in the league for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2007.

A source said Trotter was the only player Philadelphia worked out on Monday as well as last week.
